I found myself on Amazon.com yesterday which was completely bizarre. I had no idea I would have such an emotional response to a web page. But I did. There it was, Infinite Days available for pre-order. In what universe!?
I turned 30 a couple weeks ago and while I am just now coming out of my cake coma I've realized the deadline I have set with my agent is looming over my head. So, naturally, that's why I am blogging! Isn't is easier to do ANYTHING else than what you should be doing?
I got some amazing news from my editor at St Martins. Looks like Jennifer will be representing Infinite Days on the buzz panel at this year's Book Expo America. YAY! It's wonderful, stupendous and I can't wait. I've never been to anything like BEA before so I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to talk about Infinite Days and my crazy characters.
Also, I've received some of my cover art for Infinite Days US and Infinite Days UK. Once I get the final versions, I'll post them. I have also been instructed to post some photos of me learning how to sword fight. That's a hint for anyone reading this blog a year from now wondering what will happen in book 2. :) I learned how to wield a longsword by Jeremy O'Neail of Academy of Knightly Arts. He was awesome, knowledgeable and well, cute.
So the humiliation aka photos are forthcoming.
